    Notes: No Scutaro against a righthander? He is 1 for 14 against Lewis, which could explain it. ... The Sox start the day a half-game behind the Yankees in the division. ... Bedard has a 3.46 ERA in five starts since joining the Sox but he is 0-2 and the team 2-3 in those games. The lefty faced the Rangers on Aug. 22 and allowed one hit over the first five innings.     I don't know you guys but I don't wanna face this Texas Rangers in the POs... Their offense is just as good as ours (2nd in all baseball) but their pitching is ranked 5th @ Quality Starts, Boston? 25th in all baseball.

    We better bring another solid pitcher next season.
