    Visiting your Grandmother

They're both long dead but I remember

Pics of Jesus, JFK and some saints on the walls
    The fire always being on
    Apple pies
    Turkey soup
    Brass ornaments on the mantlepiece
    Toast on the fire
Who delivers ten times out of ten? Thats right baby.

    Board games.

Oh, baking cookies. That's pretty much it, cookies and board games. Isn't that what everyone does with their grandma? Bake cookies and play games?

I think once you hit a700's age, you automatically start playing board games and baking cookies all day, and inviting your grandkids over.

yeah I had that too and games of cards which I always seemed to get beat at. She would also send me on a "message" to the shops to pick up some groceries or a small bottle of whisky at the off-licence.

Hey, hey, hey! I am not at the cookie eating stage yet, and I have no grand kids. I am at the dirty old man stage. That precedes toothless cookie gumming by several years.

Every guy is always at the dirty old man stage once they hit the age of 30, and become old. From 1-29 they're dirty little bastards.

Well I think he's just in denial about the whole thing.

Hmmm, looks like somebody is getting grumpy and cynical in their old age...

Was that meant to be a pun? Or did you really think it was called Oldzteimers?
