Sick kid? I hope it is nothing serious and there is a quick recovery.

Been there. Very distressing and you feel helpless. As long as there is no complicating condition or disease, once you get the fever down and rehydrate them they are soon running around like they were never sick at about the time you are ready to collapse from exhaustion.

I am confident that MCP's child will recover soon. It is always scary to see one's child ill.

We're home. Haven't slept much. Baby will be on antibiotics for 10 days.

Thanks for all of your thoughts.

Well, once the baby is better, I'm sure you'll get back to sleeping regularly. After all, that's what people with babies do, right?

Seriously though, glad to hear everything is okay.

Wow, that means that the mother of every girl I've ever dated has been a terrorist! Also most of my bosses and any cop who has ever pulled me over.

When your child is ill, it really puts things in perspective. That is when we realize what it is really all about . On the importance scale, everything pales in comparison to the sickness of a child. The good news is that pediatric care is pretty special. Hope all has turned out well.
