"Hating the Yankees like it's a religion since 94'" RIP Mike.
"It's also a simple and indisputable fact that WAR isn't the be-all end-all in valuations, especially in real life. Wanna know why? Because an ace in run-prevention for 120 innings means more often than not, a sub-standard pitcher covering for the rest of the IP that pitcher fails to provide. You can't see value in a vacuum when a player does not provide full-time production."
Today:
- Officially become a contractor for the federal government. My accounting firm is doing some work, and I got tapped to be a part of the team
- My phone broke while running and I am without a phone for a week
Tomorrow:
- I take my first CPA exam
Lots of emotions to choose from over the next 24-36 hours
Duly noted. My phone broke on a fluke accident yesterday afternoon. Wish I had enough time to go out and get one but I was busy last night bringing my phone several places and then I had to regain my composure to make sure I was in the right mental space for today's exam
Found a new neurologist that is going to help me with my vertigo. Unfortunately, that means another trip into the MRI and medication with lots of side effects (weight gain, constipation, depression, dry mouth, vivid dreams, dizziness, nausea, breast swelling, itching, blurred vision, numbness in hands and feet, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, confusion, shakiness, sleep disorders).
Sorry for your troubles, and I hope you get some relief.
I've experienced some of those things on your list. In April I blacked out while out for a walk. Diagnosed with high blood pressure. Started taking high blood pressure meds but they made me feel terrible, probably as a result of interaction with my allergy pills and anti-depressant. Quit taking them.
I'm trying small stuff like losing weight, cutting back on caffeine, keeping my stress level under control.
Championships since purchase by John Henry group: Red Sox 4 Yankees 1
The Red Sox are 8-1 in their last 9 postseason games against the Yankees.
Appreciate it.
Because of the vertigo, my doctors have said to up the caffeine, so I got that going for me which is nice.
I always start working out after Halloween and try to get through the holidays. Otherwise, I'll drink too much nog and eat too much peppermint bark. I usually drop 15 lbs or so and then slowly gain it back over the following 10 months.
