From GOM last night's in the in-game thread:

This is as shitty a pitching matchup as it gets. Both teams pen is in the game in the second inning. Probably the start of the 2nd inning.

Same to Raja....

Ok, so I was confused last night and thought Clemens was pitching, but it came true regardless.....ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Yeah. I was talking about that with this guy I work with who is a rabid Jays fan. Ill fucking curse and hate on guys when theyre down...Lugo, Mirabelli, Tavarez, et cetera...but Ive never done the same for Hinske. Its a rare former ROY who wont complain about playing time. Gotta like the guy.

Incidentally, my job is really odd. Its full of dedicated fans of a lot of teams, strange for Connecticut which is usually Sox, Yanks, Mets. Weve got 3 Sox fans, 2 Yankees fans, 2 Mets fans, a Jays fan, a Rockies fan (me), two Cardinals fans, a Cubs fan, an A's fan, and get this, 4 Angels fans. Makes for great conversations.

The 8th is next. We already pitched the 7th. They should just give Oki the day off since he pitched yesterday and let Gagne get his debut. OR they could be using Oki in the 8th and Gagne in the 9th because they don't like pitching Paps on back-to-back days (especially on a day game after a night game). We'll probably see Gagne go for the save.

I still agree with Castiglione...even though he isnt fast, Lowell is a smart baserunner, and that counts for a lot. Remember when he danced down the line at third and got Lugo out of the rundown? Stretched that single into a double? Hes a heads up baserunner, even if he does run like an old man.

That's what he'll do. Paps pitched the 9th last night and Tito already dislikes using Paps on back-to-back nights anyway. Also taking into consideration that Paps was used last night and it's now a day game, Gagne will probably close it out regardless of the score.
