It was oblivous Snape would come out as a good guy IMO.
I didn't get the part near the end. Harry gotthe killing curse shot at him so he got send to the Hallows where he met Dumbledore?

yeah dumbledores explanation was confusing, i just took it as, as long as voldemort lives harry can't die. due to harry's blood and his mother's protective charm running through voldemorts veins.

i don't really know why he met dumbledore at the train station though?

I, without reading the book, pretended to look up and know the ending and told my roommate that Harry Potter died. When she got to the point where Harry Potter looked like he was going to die or whatever, she said she almost came and strangled me in my sleep.:dunno:

I thought I read somewhere that the final chapter was the first she'd ever written.

I heard when she wrote the books, the 1st thing she would write the 1st and last chapters 1st.

The ending was a bit confusing, but for the most part I think she did about as good as she could have done with the finale.

The hole Snape situation went about the way I expected. I didn't see the whole him and Harry's mom were good friends coming.

Overall I thought it was a great book, and for someone who grew up reading these books, I am kind of bummed there won't be anymore.

I was kinda sad that Fred Weasley died.

In spite of growing up in the Dursleys' house, the Weasleys and Hermione are the closest thing to a family Harry has had.

this just reminded me, my gf told me to check out mugglenet.com where i guess jk rowling did a question and answer peice and there are a lot of answers to loose ends there.

I know she's already said she's not going to make any more books about harry. But i really hope that if she decides to write some more she makes a sort of biography of Dumbledore's life. That would rock my socks.
