thats cool I've been thinking about getting a fantasy team, but summers almost over, and once i start college again, I don't think I'll have the time. By the way, who's paxton crawford?

Jared Wright

Wright is 11-6 and since the all star break hes been very hot.Hes probably been the best pitcher undisputibly since the all star break.

Adrian Beltre

YEAR G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS
2004 113 432 76 140 23 0 34 82 34 65 1 2 .324 .372 .613 .985

A patient hitter while coming up through the Dodgers minor league system, Beltre has developed a free-swinging approach in the majors. In fact, his on-base percentage has dropped in each successive season this millennium. While he is capable of covering every inch of the strike zone, pitchers now know that they can get him out without throwing many strikes. Beltre can go deep to any part of the park, and when he is in a groove, he drives balls on the outer half into the right-center field gap.

hes got me a ton of points and hes a free agent next year

Jose Valentine

YEAR G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS
2004 95 353 64 81 17 3 26 64 33 107 6 3 .229 .297 .516 .813

Why does Valentin continue switch-hitting? It's hard to imagine he'd fare worse against lefties hitting lefthanded than he does righthanded. There was a 134-point difference between Valentin's averages last season, with only three extra-base hits in 107 at-bats as a righty. He does generate a ton of power lefthanded, averaging 25 homers the last four seasons, but no longer gets on base often enough to be effective near the top of the order.

Next Year's? Kazuo Matsui, will probably settle down and begin a tear next year. Ryan Wagner of the Cincannti Reds could become the closer for the Reds.

Victor Marinez

YEAR G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS
2004 107 394 66 117 29 1 20 91 45 50 0 1 .297 .369 .528 .897

Martinez is a line-drive switch-hitter who recognizes pitches early and can make adjustments during at-bats. After hitting one homer in Cleveland and seven in Buffalo last summer in 433 at-bats, Martinez isn't in danger of breaking your mother's picture window. The Indians call him a doubles hitter and believe the 190-pounder eventually will develop more power. Martinez has a quick, level swing from each side of the plate and has shown the ability to hit breaking balls and fastballs. He didn't hit well with runners in scoring position, but batted .393 (22-for-56) from the seventh inning on.

if u do [URL=http://mlb.com] fantasy baseball then martinez's price value as well as player value has been going up.

Empire, Paxton Crawford was a decent pitcher for the sox a coupla years ago, somewhat like Casey Fossum. I think his Red Sox career ended when he injured himself rolling out of a hotel bed onto a class and cutting himself pretty badly. I think he was traded... although for who and to what team I have no idea.
