Preferably in Sale's next effort. ESPM assholes didn't even mentionspeed of amy pitch. Looked about 94? Threw a lot of strikes, and looked confident.

Where the hell has ne been hiding?

No. He doesn’t.

He might get one by default because the Sox have 5 other pitchers who also don’t deserve to start...

Weber should be gone after this year.

I have more faith in Johnson and Velazquez, which isn't saying much.

Johnson maybe. Velazquez is a joke.

Neither Velazquez or Johnson are starter quality.

Neither Velazquez or Johnson are starter quality.

Neither is Weber. Johnson has had more success than Weber as a starter at every level.

I don't know ow many more innings Weber might have gone with similar restls, but I know that none of our Big 3 can't get past the 3rd or 4th inning without getting hammered.

To go on and on repeating the crappy performances of the last 2 months would have to be called just plain stupid.

Given how the Sox starters have done in the first inning, I’d be ok with giving Weber an “opener” game in front of Price or Porcello...

Yes, I think it's time for the team to start getting creative. Nothing to lose, that's for sure.

Weber had nice movement on his FB and he located it well. Maybe he deserves a longer look than Hembree.

Is this a thread wanting Ryan Weber to start over Chris Sale? What the actual fuck?

Weber is a scrub's scrub. He's looked decent a couple times this year. He shouldn't even be on any competitive team's 25 man roster.

He better not be on next year's roster, unless we've decided to blow it all up and start over.

Also they should see what Brian Johnson is. Is he worth keeping?

I will say, i am a longtime Johnson detractor, but I am starting to agree with Dojii that he could be as good as Porcello. Maybe not in the way that Dojii meant, but still...

I think Weber just looked good compared to Price. DP had absolutely nothing yesterday. He managed to make career minor league hitters look good.

Although that two-seamer Weber was throwing did look really nice at times.

And Weber had a good start against the Jays this year. But he got smoked in his next start.

I think he's one of those guys who can look good when he's 100% on. But you can say that about a lot of pitchers.

Feels like neither Johnson or Velazquez even showed up this year. Or Wright.

And Johnson and Velazquez were pretty solid contributors in 2018.

This is what an eight game losing streak does . It makes people crazy.

In this case it's an 8 game losing streak plus the season's over for all intents and purposes.

Is this a thread wanting Ryan Weber to start over Chris Sale? What the actual fuck?It says he should start INSTEAD of Sale, who should be sent either to the bullpen. or home!

Weber looked good against a Spring Training lineup. With that said, he did a lot better than Sale, Price, Porcello of late in any 3 to 4-inn stint performance. I like his sinker, I am fine with him getting a spot start. He earned one last night.

Agree. All respect to bosoxmal, but this ain't worth a separate thread.
