I have no problem with the signing. I'm sure he made it out of some sort of re-hab program, or the league would have said NO. But most importantly, in terms of Boston is that Cora knows him well, played with him with the Mets, and knows his character. Every drug user is different, and I'd much rather bring in someone with a history of drug use or ped use than a player with a history of wife battery or sexual abuse. The first is victimless, the latter is anything but that. Consider the first, boycott the latter.

It was my point and thanks for trying to see it. I do though think that you could use this perspective with respect to many things and in many different ways of life as well.
